Trigger Fish
Max Length: 25cm (9.8in) Range: Indo Pacific Min Aquarium size: 55 gal (208 Litre) Food: Mixed diet of meaty foods, including chopped shrimp, squid, clams and fish. Frozen foods with marine algae and vitamin enriched foods. Needs feeding no less than 3 times a day. Reef Aquarium Compatibility: Will attack many inverts, except stinging Cnidarians, such as carper anemones.
Care: Juveniles are mild mannered and will eat from the fingers. Aggression will increase with age, should be kept with equal sized fish or larger. If introduced at the same time as members of the same genus, they will tolerate them. Will occasionally bite heater tubes and airlines and can rearrange decor!
