Developed with JBJ Lighting in America. the Nano-Cube, unlike many small tanks
available for freshwater fish keeping has been specifically designed as a salt
water system.

Optional Sizes and Formats
In the UK the Nano-Cube is available in sizes 45 litres or 90 litres and
can be used closed topped as supplied open topped in conjunction with one of the
special Viper halides.
Style and Design
The single wrap round front glass and subtle gunmetal finish make the Nano-Cube
tasteful addition to any home or decor. A stylish matching cabinet or stand is
available to finish all the effect or alternatively the tanks con be used free
standing on a suitably supported flat surface.
Quality and Safety
All of the components hove been wired a installed to ensure that all wires,
circuit boards and ballasts meet the stringent UL safety standards back in the
States and the CE requirements or Europe.
Easy Access and Cleaning
The hood at the tank is fully hinged and removable to allow easy access for
aquascaping and for cleaning. For day to day feeding there is a simple hinged
flop at the front. WHAT'S UNDER THE HOOD
The Nano Cube is a complete solution to the smaller marine fish or reef
aquarium.
Lighting - is provided by 2 powerful T5 power compact tubes which are
mounted within a sealed housing and ventilated by two integrated fans to keep
your tank cool.
Moonlight - Two blue LED’S mounted in the hood produce a stunning
moonlight effect to allow you to see how your fish a corals behave at night.
Water flow - Powerful water flow is provided for the corals and fish by
on internal pump which turns the tank volume over more than 10 times per hour.
This will hold the detritus in solution for effective removal by the mechanical
filter.
FILTER COMPARTMENT
The Nano Cube incorporates a complete 3 stage solution to waste
management which is discretely hidden out of s so that nothing spoils the v w of
your fish.
1 Mechanical - the surface water is skimmed off and first passes
thorough a set of three sponges which act as on efficient mechanical filter to
remove the Solid particles from the water making it crystal clear.
2 Biological - in addition to the sponges which will act biologically,
the Nano-Cube includes a section of porous ceramic rings and bio-balls. The
rings hove a huge surface area on which bacteria will grow allowing effective
breakdown of waste in your aquarium.
3 Chemical - activated
carbon is used to remove chemicals that would otherwise polute and discolour the
water.
The powerful pump turns
the water through the filter over 10 times per hour to ensure that all of the
waste is removed as quickly as possible.
NATURAL REEF
One of the greatest advances in the ability to keep sustainable marine
aquariums is LIVE ROCK.
Not only does it act as decoration for the inside of the tank on which to
glue your corals creating a natural looking reef but it also gives
stability to your tank.
The rock acts as a haven for small animals that help to breakdown and
remove the detritus and contains both aerobic and anaerobic sites for
bacteria to complete the nitrogen cycle.
Whether you intend to keep your aquarium for fish only or as a nano
reef we recommend that you always incorporate some live rock into your
design.
GO WITH THE FLOW
The MSS (Modular Surface Skimmer) instantly transforms your intake
grill into a true surface skimming overflow box. The innovative attachment
is a one piece moulding and installs in seconds to add function and a
professional look to your tank.
The MSS is held in position by the pressure of the water flowing
over it alone - a built-in safety feature. If you forget to top up the
water then the pump will run dry and the water flow will stop. At this
point the MSS will come loose and drop off allowing the water from the
tank to run into the filter box rather than burning out the dry pump.
