biOrb combines the looks of a traditional fish bowl with the performance of a 'hi-tech' aquarium. The 30 litre fish bowl incorporates a clever and easy to change filtration system that has been designed to provide maximum benefits to both fish and fish keeper. biOrb's stylish, globe shaped design will prove an eye-catching feature in any location. This together with its low maintenance and strong, safe construction will appeal to all age groups in both private and business sectors. The globe is manufactured from Plexiglas acrylic and because of its larger water capacity, biOrb provides fish with approximately ten times more space than a traditional bowl.

According to Practical Fishkeeping Magazine's online stocking calculator, you should only stock between 7 and 14 inch total length of tropical fish (18-35cm) or in case of coldwater fish, between 3 and 7 inch (9 and 18cm) in a 35 Litre BiUbe aquarium. Reef One suggests the Goldfish and Minnows as coldwater BiUbe occupants or Dwarf Gouramis, Harlequin Rasboras, Cardinal Tetras, Leopard Danios or Amano Shrimp in the heated version; the Tropical BiUbe. Unless you can source really clean water and use already bacteria infested media, you should not put any fish in the new BiUbe for 24hrs and no more than just one fish for the first month. The "Smart BiUbe" The BiUbe Tropical kit we offer is, just like the BiOrb and its tropical version here is a simple addition of a 50W heater to the coldwater version. Reef-One also manufactures a truly 'Smart' tropical BiUbe. This BiUbe comes equipped with a smart lighting system, regulated by a 12 Volt Microprocessor chip. It simulates sunrise, full daylight, sunset and moonlight at night to recreate that natural environment tropical fish love most. This light version is equipped with long-life high intensity LEDs as oppose to the coldwater's halogen light. The LEDs will go on for 50,000 hours (nearly 6 years) before burning out. It also features a microprocessor controlled 'i-Heat' tropical heater which doesn't contain any glass like conventional heaters and also runs safely on 12 Volts. Subject to availability.
Create a 24 hour lighting cycle as nature intended - reducing the stress on your fish. • Simply plug it in - no set up required. Concealed in the aquarium lid and only 18 mm thick. The low voltage, safe air pump provides the bubble supply that powers the filter system and assists with oxygen diffusion in the aquarium. It is essential the air pump is left running permanently. Reef One biUbe and biOrb aquariums incorporate two one way valves to prevent water draining back down the air line; however, it is safer to place the air pump above the level of the aquarium water line. The air pump is designed to run as silently as possible but due to its pumping action internal vibration will be transmitted as noise if the air pump body touches surrounding objects. As the air pump is essential to maintain water quality and runs continuously 24 hours a day, it is advisable to keep a spare in the event of failure. Air pumps are available in 12Volt 50 Hz and 12 volt 60 Hz versions.
The low voltage light unit illuminates the biOrb and it’s inhabitants, making the aquarium into even more of a feature. Designed as a easy-to-fit accessory, the light unit doesn’t impose on the biOrb’s attractive shape an incorporates a hole for easy fish feeding. The white light simulates daylight, which assists with plant growth and brings out the true colours of the fish. With the anti-glare shield removed (see instructions) the biOrb is transformed into a living table lamp.
